At Lakeside Signs & Graphics we use a couple different graphic techniques for Vehicles.

  • Magnetic
  • Vinyl Lettering
  • Half Wraps
  • Full Wraps
  • Window Perforated Films
  • Fleet Service
  • Transit

One technique is Cut Vinyl, which is a solid color opaque vinyl, cut on our plotter to create shapes or letters.

The other technique is our Vehicle Wraps/graphics Digitally Printed with solvent-based, exterior-grade, UV-resistant inks.

We use conformable, removable vinyl and perforated window film from 3M, Avery and others.  All our prints are over laminated with a UV-resistant matte, luster or gloss finish film for additional protection from fading, sand, road grime and physical abrasion. Our prints are rated for 5 years exterior exposure with no fading, chipping, or cracking.

Wraps vs. Paint Wraps and graphics are a much more economical alternative to paint. Paint jobs can cost several thousand while Wraps usually are only a couple thousand. Also, once you’ve had your car for a few years and you’d like to sell it you can remove a vehicle wrap without it damaging any of the original paint. In fact all the paint underneath the wrap will have been protected by the wrap. No Sun fading, rock chips, etc.

How Long do Vinyl Graphics & Wraps Last? Our colored Graphics & Wrap films are covered under 3M warranty for up to 3 years but if garaged and well taken care of it can last for up to 5-6 years.
